titleOfInvention Positive electrostatically chargeable toner
abstract PURPOSE:To obtain a positive electrostatically chargeable toner having a desired color without spoiling the intrinsic hue of a coloring material by using 4,4'- bis(dimethylaminophenyl)methane as a positive charge controlling agent. CONSTITUTION:4,4'-Bis(dimethylaminophenyl)methane is used as a positive charge controlling agent. Since this controlling agent is colorless, the agent is particularly suitable for a color toner and since the dispersion in a resin is satisfactory, a uniformly charged toner is obtd. 4,4'-Bis(dimethylaminophenyl)methane is preferably compounded in a 1-15wt% range with the resin. Any dyes including carbon black, Rhodamine 6G rake, Phthalocyanine blue, Phthalocyanine green, monoazo, disazo, metallic complex type aso, anthraquinone and phthalocyanine are usable for the coloring agent to be used.
