titleOfInvention | Low polymerization degree polymer dispersant |
abstract | PURPOSE: To provide a stable cationic low polymerization degree polymer dispersant good in productivity, obtained by subjecting a specific amount of a polymerizable monomer, a hydroxyl group-containing monomer and the other copolymerizable monomer to radical polymerization. n CONSTITUTION: 5W100pts.wt. of a polymerizable cationic monomer, 0W20pts.wt. of a hydroxyl group-containing monomer and 0W95pts.wt. of the other copolymerizable monomer are polymerized at about 20W100°C in an aqueous system or a water/alcohol system to obtain a cationic dispersant with a M.W. of about 500W10,000. IN this case, as the polymerizable cationic monomer, a polymerizable quaternary ammonium salt is used and, as the hydroxyl group-containing monomer, hydroxyalkyl (1W8C) acrylate is used while, as the other copolymerizable monomer, acrylonitrile is used. The obtained dispersant is used in dispersing an inorg. pigment, an org. pigment or cement. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1984,JPO&Japio |
