titleOfInvention Measurement of amylase in urine
abstract PURPOSE:To enable measurement of amylase in urine with an oxygen film sensor having glucose selectivity, by further measurement of a sensor output by the predetermined time at a value of the sensor output exceeding the preset value. CONSTITUTION:When a glucose reaction reaches approximately a constant valve by using the amylase standard serum of a known concentricity such as ACR, a sensor value So at a moment when the predetermined time has passed from a point Po is derived and a calibration is made on this measured value. When as a test sample, for instance, blood (including glucose and amylase) is injected into an reaction cell an output characteristic burns out (b) and at the initial stage P1 an obvious starting point exceeding the preset value G by glucose in blood is detected, showing that glucose is contained. Subtracting the quantity G1 of glucose at the point Po where the glucose reaction is stabilized and deriving only an output value S1 by the amylase reaction, an amylase concentration is obtained with consideration of colibration factor.
