abstract PURPOSE: A herbicidal composition showing no selectivity for a wide range of weeds, an extremely immediate effect, and extremely high herbicidal activity, by synergistic effect by the use of both a specific α,β-unsaturated carboxylic acid and 3-amino-1,2,4-triazole. n CONSTITUTION: A herbicidal composition containing (A) at least one of a compound shown by the formula (R 1 is straight-chain or branched aliphatic hydrocarbon group having 1W15C main chain; R 2 is H, halogen, or 1W7C hydrocarbon; R 3 is YR 4 , NR 5 R 6 ; Y is O, or S; R 4 WR 6 are H, 1W10C alkyl, and R 5 and R 5 may be linked to form ring) and its functional salts and (B) at least one of 3- amino-1,2,4-triazole and its functional salts, wherein each of them is directly used as it is or partially or completely linked to form a salt, as active ingredients, showing the above-mentioned excellent effect especially by foliar treatment. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1984,JPO&Japio
