titleOfInvention | Production of cellulase |
abstract | PURPOSE: A specific filamentous fungus capable of producing cellulase is cultured in an enriched medium containing cellulose and cellulase is collected from the culture mixture whereby cellulase is obtained in high efficiency. n CONSTITUTION: A filamentous fungus which is resistant to deoxyfluoro-D-glucose and capable of producing cellulase is cultured in an enriched medium containing cellulose and cellulase is collected from the culture mixture. There are three positions of 2, 3, and 4 for deoxy and fluorine substitutions in the deoxyfluoro-D- glucose and any positions can be selected. For example, 2-deoxy-2-fluoro-D- glucose, 3-deoxy-3-fluoro-D-glucose or 4-deoxy-4-fluoro-D-glucose can be used. The filamentous fungus used is derived from the strain capable of cellulose production and, e.g., Sporotrichum cellulophilum ATCC20493 (AJ6987) and Trichoderma reesei ATCC269221 (QM9414) are cited. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1984,JPO&Japio |
