titleOfInvention Production of water-containing coagulated polyacrylonitrile film
abstract PURPOSE: To obtain the titled film free of peeling spot, by extruding a polyacrylonitrile polymer solution onto a support coated with a surfactant, partially coagulating the extruded solution in an aqueous coagulation bath, releasing the partially coagulated film from the support and completely coagulating said film. n CONSTITUTION: A drum 2 is placed in a coagulation bath 6 containing an aqueous coagulation solution (e.g., aqueous nitric acid solution). A solution of a polyacrylonitrile polymer in a solvent (e.g., 70% nitric acid) is extruded through a die 1 onto the drum 2 to which a surfactant (e.g., alkylbenzenesulfonate) is applied by means of a coating roll 3, and the extruded solution is brought to the coagulation bath 6 by the rotation of the drum 2 and coagulated partially. The partially coagulated film 1A is released from the drum 2 at a point P, and coagulated completely in the coagulation bath 6, taken up by a take-up roll 5 and washed to obtain the purpose water-containing polyacrylonitrile film. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1984,JPO&Japio
