titleOfInvention Corrosion preventive member
abstract PURPOSE: A corrosion preventive member capable of suppressing crevice corrosion which would be formed at a crevice part difficult to accept the effect of an inhibitor, by constituting said corrosion preventive member with an inner corrosion preventive layer made of an expansible resinous material mixed with a nitrite and an outer protective layer prepd. by adding each fine powder of carbon, MgO and Zn or a Mg-Al to an electric conductive rubber substrate. n CONSTITUTION: An inner corrosion preventive layer 1 comprising a material prepd. by adding 5W100wt% a nitrite (e.g. NH 4 NO 2 ) to expansible resin (e.g. expansible PST) is prepared. Then, an outer protective layer 2 comprising a material prepd. by severally adding 20W200% fine carbon powder having specific area of 900m 2 /g or higher, 20W100% fine MgO powder and 40W350% fine Zn powder or 40W200% fine Mg-Al alloy powder, each by wt. ratio, to a rubber substrate is formed on the outside of said inner corrosion preventive layer 1. When a volatile inhibitor is used, the corrosion preventive tape obtd. in this way can maintain the corrosion preventive effect to suppress crevice corrosion which would be easily formed at a crevice part difficult to accept the effect of said inhibitor. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1984,JPO&Japio
