abstract PURPOSE: To produce a sphingolipid derivative, by reacting a sphingolipid with a compound having an alcoholic hydroxyl group. n CONSTITUTION: A sphingolipid expressed by formula I is reacted with a compound having an alcoholic hydroxyl group in the presence of phospholipase DM to produce the aimed sphingolipid expressed by formula II.
