| abstract | PURPOSE: To improve iron removing performance of a desalting tower for condensed water by draining water in the stage of transferring resin after backwashing or regeneration by providing a water draining line to the bottom of a wedge wire screen of a desalting tower of condensed water. n CONSTITUTION: Cation exchange resin regenerated with H 2 SO 4 12 in a cation exchange resin tower 8 is mixed in a resin mixing tower 14 with anion exchange resin regenerated with NaOH 13 in an anion exchange resin tower 11 and transferred to a condensed water desalting tower 5 again. Water is drained from a water draining line 21 while transferring the slurry of the resin in water in order to prevent separation of the resin mixture to cation and anion exchange resin by the difference of the specific weight in the condensate desalting tower. The water drained from the water draining line 21 in this case is transferred to a waste disposal system.
