PURPOSE: To determine hydrogen peroxide by bringing the hydrogen peroxide and a colorable compd. into reaction in the presence of peroxidase and measuring the absorption in the visible part of the colored reaction liquid. n CONSTITUTION: A determining method of hydrogen peroxide which is simple and highly sensitive and overcomes conventional defects such as (1) susceptibility to a colored material such as bilirubin in a sample and (2) an easy tendency toward generation of errors in the measured value owing to the spontaneous oxidation of the color original body is obtd. by bringing hydrogen peroxide and the colorable compd. expressed by the general formulas I WIV into reaction in the presence of peroxidase and measuring the absorption in the visible part of the colored reaction liquid. In the general formulas, Z in the general formulas denotes, for example, a hydroxyl group, and amino group, Y an oxygen atom or sulfur atom, X, for example, a hydrogen atom and alkyl group and R 1 a hydrogen atom, hydroxyl group, etc. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1984,JPO&Japio |
