PURPOSE: To provide the titled compsn. which has good room temperature vulcanizability and gives vulcanizates having excellent elongation, tensile strength and adhesiveness, by blending natural or synthetic rubber and an org. or inorg. metal salt with a specified olefin terpolymer. n CONSTITUTION: 5W200pts.wt. natural or synthetic rubber such as chloroprene rubber and 0.1W5pts.wt. org. or inorg. metal salt such as cobalt naphthenate are blended with 100pts.wt. olefin terpolymer composed of ethylene, an α-olefin (e.g. propylene) other than ethylene and a polyene monomer having non-conjugated double bonds in the molecule (e.g. cyclopentadiene). n COPYRIGHT: (C)1984,JPO&Japio |
