titleOfInvention | Measurement of antigen determinant-containing substance |
abstract | PURPOSE:To measure the quantity of a ligand with a high sensitivity by bringing an antigen-determinant-containing substance (ligand) contained in a specimen, a high molecular compound or a polymer thereof and an enzyme or a high molecular compound thereof into contact with a conjugate between an anti-ligand antibody and an anti-enzyme antibody and a high molecular compound thereof to gauge the enzyme activity. CONSTITUTION:A ligand contained in a specimen (serum, urine or the like) includes a low molecular hapten, protein hormones, immunoglobulins, virus antigens and a cancerassociated antigen. A high molecular compound conjugated with the ligand is those such as polysaccharide such as soluble dextran and a derivative thereof, protein such as gelatin and polyethylene glycol or a high molecular conversion may be done by polymerization of the ligand itself. The enzyme herein used can be anything which produce those antibodies innolved, for example, glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenating enzyme. A simple measurement method of activity is preferable. The anti-ligand antibody and the anti- enzyme antibody can be obtained in accordance with the widely-accepted method. |
