titleOfInvention Conversion of organic material
abstract PURPOSE: To carry out the catalyst dewaxing, etc. of a light oil fraction, or lubricant fraction, easily and economically, by using a crystalline aluminosilicate having a specific crystal structure, high molecular-shape selectivity and catalytic activity, and high SiO 2 /Al 2 O 3 ratio. n CONSTITUTION: For example, the cracking, isomerization, alkylation, etc. of hydrocarbons, etc. are carried out by contacting the hydrocarbon, etc. with a catalyst containing a crystalline aluminosilicate (TSZ) having a chemical composition of formula I (M is metallic cation; n is atomic valence of M; Z is 0W40) (e.g. formula II) and exhibiting a powder X-ray diffraction pattern corresponding to the lattice spacings of the table. The TSZ is e.g. a hydrogen ion-exchanged one ion-exchanged by acid treatment or with NH + 4 , a compound having increased silica/alumina ratio and obtained by contacting the above ion-exchanged catalyst with an acid, or a metallic ion-exchanged one substituted with a VIII- group metal ion. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1984,JPO&Japio
