titleOfInvention Hydrogen resistant pressure container
abstract PURPOSE:To prevent hydrogen corrosion of welded parts in a multi-layer pressure container by forming an inner cylinder with a Cr-Mo steel having very low C and low Si components and a layered section with a high strength Cr-Mo steel, and applying high-strengthening heat treatment after welding. CONSTITUTION:In order to manufacture a hydrogen resistant pressure container a nozzle 6 and a manhole 7 are first welded to an end plate (Cr-Mo steel) 4, and after providing a buttering welding section 9 consisting of low C-Cr-Mo steel welding metal, a normal heat treatment is done at high temperature. Then, upon the outer surface of an inner cylinder 1 consisting of Cr-Mo steel having very low C and low Si and stainless steel, a layer material 2 of high strength Cr-Mo steel and an outer cylinder 3 (Cr-Mo steel) are overlapped to form a layered cylinder section. And after the layered cylinder section (1+2) and the end plate 4 is welded together with a low C-Cr-Mo steel welding metal 10, a high strength Cr-Mo steel welding metal 11 between the layered cylinder sections (1+2), and the layer material 2 with a high strength Cr-Mo steel welding metal 8 respectively, a high strengthening heat treatment is applied at 600-650 deg.C.
