titleOfInvention Plastic or rubber magnet composition
abstract PURPOSE: To obtain titled composition of highly filled type with good processability, capable of forming magnet of high magnetic flux density and heat and impact resistance, by incorporating a resin or rubber with a magnetic powder surface-coated with a specific organophosphorus compound treatment. n CONSTITUTION: The objective composition can be obtained by incorporating (A) a resin or rubber with (B) 5W95wt% a magnetic powder surface-coated with a treatment consisting of an oragnophosphorus compound of formula [R and R' are each (substituted) 1W30C alkyl, alkenyl, aryl, alkoxy, alkenoxy, aryloxy], e.g., di-2-ethylhexyl phosphate. In the case of said R or R', 4W18C type will be preferable for alkyl. Use of unsaturated or mercapto group-substituted R or R' will lead to improved mechanical properties of the composition. n EFFECT: Capable of producing magnets of significantly higher residual magnetic flux density compared to those from titanium coupler treatment. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1984,JPO&Japio
