titleOfInvention Hot melt type capsule ink
abstract PURPOSE:To obtain a system capable of obtaining high developing density and reduced in staining, in a dye capsule-containing wax type ink, by dispersing an oily substance in wax by encapsulating all or a part thereof. CONSTITUTION:Oil capsules each containing one or more of a natural or synthetic oily substance such as cotton meal oil, fusel oil, paraffin or naphthene oil are dispersed and mixed in natural or synthetic wax such as paraffin wax or carnauba wax. The oil capsule is used in an amount of 5-60% by wt. of the total amount of wax type capsule ink. A dye precursor-containing microcapsule is dispersed by using this oil capsule-containing wax to obtain ink. As the dye precursor, one usually used in non-carbon copy paper is used and used in encapsulation alone or in a state dissolved in an oily solvent. The film material of the microcapsule is pref. a synthetic resin.
