abstract PURPOSE: To composition to abstain from smoking that contains a powder or foils of metallic silver or a noble metal alloy thereof, thus making the smoking taste hateful selectively to reduce smoking desire without any adverse effect on bodies. n CONSTITUTION: The objective composition contains powder, foils, strips or pieces of metallic silver and an alloy thereof with noble metal. The content of the metallic silver or its alloy is preferably 0.05W50mg each application. The alloy of metallic silver is preferably more than 20wt% silver content. Metallic silver or its alloy is made into a powder or foil and combined with an appropriate base such as candy or chewing gum.
