titleOfInvention Electrophotographic sensitive body
abstract PURPOSE:To manufacture easily an electrophotographic sensitive body with superior durability at a low cost by using a photosensitive layer contg. a specified stilbene compound. CONSTITUTION:A stilbene compound represented by the formula (where R<1> is H, alkyl, alkoxy or halogen; each of R<2> and R<3> is alkyl, aralkyl or aryl; R<4> is H or phenyl; and the ethyl group is a substituent at the p- or o-position), e.g. 4- ethyl-4'(N,N-diphenylamino)stilbene is used. A photosensitive layer 2 of about 3- 50mum thickness contg. about 30-70wt% said stilbene compound and about 0.5- 3pts.wt. sensitizing dye such as brilliant green is formed on an electrically conductive support 1 to obtain an electrophotographic sensitive body.
