titleOfInvention Polyphenylene ether resin composition
abstract PURPOSE: The titled composition, obtained by incorporating a bicyclophosphoric acid ester compound with a polyphenylene ether, and having the flame retardance without deteriorating the thermal properties. n CONSTITUTION: A polyphenylene ether resin composition obtained by incorporating 100pts.wt. polyphenylene ether or resin consisting of a mixture thereof with another high polymer with 0.1W20pts.wt., preferably 1W10pts.wt. bicyclophosphoric acid ester compound of the formula (X is carboxylic acid residue or phosphoric acid residue). Poly(2,6-dimethyl-1,4-phenylene)ether is preferred for the polyphenylene ether, and polystyrene, etc. is preferred for the high polymer. The amount thereof to be used is 1W99wt%, preferably 20W80wt% based on the polyphenylene ether. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1984,JPO&Japio
