titleOfInvention Polyamide composition
abstract PURPOSE: The titled composition that is obtained by adding a modified ethylene- α-olefin-diene elastic terpolymer and a polar vinyl monomer-containing ethylene random copolymer, thus showing improved low temperature impact strength and saline resistance with high toughness and moldability. n CONSTITUTION: (A) 100pts.wt. of polyamide are combined with (B) 1W100pts.wt. of a modified ethylene-α-olefin-diene elastic terpolymer which is obtained by grafting 0.01W10pts.wt. of unsaturated carboxylic acid or its derivative onto 100pts.wt. of an ethylene-α-olefin-diene elastic terpolymer and has less than 40% crystallinity and 0.01W50g/10min melt flow rate at 190°C and (C) 1W100pts.wt. of a polar vinyl monomer-containing ethylenic random copolymer which contains, as a polar vinyl monomer, vinyl acetate or methacrylate or acrylate ester and as a major component, ethylene units and has 0.01W100g/10min melt flow rate at 190°C. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1984,JPO&Japio
