titleOfInvention Production of cationic polymer
abstract PURPOSE: To prevent an insolubilization phenomenon and obtain a high-quality cationic polymer stably, by polymerizing a mixture of acrylamide and a cationic vinyl monomer in the presence of a phosphite in an aqueous medium to form a sheet. n CONSTITUTION: A monomer mixture of acrylamide and a cationic vinyl monomer of formula I [wherein R 1 is H, or CH 3 , R 2 and R 3 are each CH 3 or C 2 H 5 , R 4 is H, CH 3 , C 2 H 5 or benzyl, A is a group formula II (n is 2W3), formula III or IV, X - is Cl - , Br - , I - , CH 3 SO 4 - , C 2 H 5 SO 4 - , 1/2SO 4 -- , or CH 3 COO - ] is polymerized in an aqueous medium to form a sheet. Said copolymerization is carried out in the presence of a phosphite an acrylamide/cationic vinyl monomer weight ratio of 95/5W5/95. Examples of the cationic vinyl monomers of formula I include sulfates, hydrochlorides, etc., of dimethylaminoethyl (meth)acrylate, 3-(diethylamino)-2-hydroxypropyl (meth)acrylate, or the like. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1984,JPO&Japio
