titleOfInvention | Diazo type copying material |
abstract | PURPOSE:To obtain a diazo type copying material capable of enhancing color density sufficiently even with a small amt. of silica to be used, by enhancing dispersibility of the silica and preventing selective adsorption. CONSTITUTION:In a diazo type copying material prepared by forming a precoat layer contg. silica between a support and a photosensitive layer, an intended effect is obtained by incorporating a titanium acylate compd. represented by general formula I (R is 1-4C alkyl, alkoxy, or aryl, and R' is acyl) alone or together with a silane coupling agent in said precoat layer. The titanium acylate compd. is exemplified by methyl Ti acylate, isopropoxy Ti trisdioctyl phosphate, easily dispersible or soluble in water. Since the use of said compd. enhances dispersibility of silica or its adhesion to paper, the restriction of silica due to its physical properties is greatly mitigated and any kinds of silica are made usable. A desirable amt. of Ti acylate compd. is 0.01-2%. |
