titleOfInvention Polishing agent composition
abstract PURPOSE: To provide the titled composition containing a specific amount of a silicone resin, applicable easily to the coated surface of metal, plastics, etc. or the surface of ceramic tile, etc. to restore its luster and give beautiful appearance, and having excellent durability even under severe natural conditions, such as exposure to sunlight, rain, etc. n CONSTITUTION: The objective composition is prepared by dissolving a mixture containing (A) preferably 0.1W30wt% of wax (e.g. carnauba wax), a waxy substance and/or silicone oil (e.g. dimethylsilicone oil) and (B) 0.1W30wt% of a silicone resin (e.g. methylsilicone resin, phenylsilicone resin, etc.) in a solvent, and if necessary, emulsifying the solution with water. A silicone resin soluble in a solvent which whitens or swells the coating surface, e.g. xylene, butyl acetate, etc. is suitable to be applied to the surface of metal, ceramic tile, etc., and a silicone resin soluble in a solvent which does not affect the coating surface, e.g. ligroin, industrial gasoline, etc. is suitable for the finishing of a coated surface, plastic surface, etc. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1984,JPO&Japio
