abstract PURPOSE:To produce a wire guide inexpensively and easily, by a method wherein a resin is loaded with abrasion-resistant particles, the resin is charged into a metallic mold, is hardened, and then a perforated block is produced. CONSTITUTION:A molding resin, a hardener, abrasion-resistant particles and lubricating particles are mixed with each other, the resultant mixture is charged into the metallic mold in which tungsten wires 6 are alingned, and the mixture is hardened. After demolding, the tungsten wires 6 are drawn out from the hardened block, followed by cutting to predetermined dimensions to produce the perforated block 7, which is sliced to a predetermined thickness to produce a plurality of sheets of wire guides.
