titleOfInvention Cephalosporin derivative and drug containing said derivative
abstract NEW MATERIAL:The compound of formula I [R 1 is H, OH, -CONH 2 , lower alkyl or group of formula II (m is 0 or 1); n is 0W2; including its salt and ester); lis 0W2; X is C or N]. n EXAMPLE: N-( 4-Carbomethoxymethylphenyl )-7-( adamantan-1-acetamido )cephalosporanic acid amide of formula III. n USE: An antibacterial agent. It has lost the antibacterial activity by the chemical modification, however, the activity is recovered when absorbed in the living body. n PROCESS: The objective compound is prepared by reacting the 7-(adamantan-1- acetamido)cephalosporanic acid (or its reactive derivative) of formula IV with the compound of formula V (or its salt) (e.g. 4-aminophenylacetic acid) usually in a solvent such as acetone, preferably at -30W+50°C for 0.5W48hr. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1984,JPO&Japio
