titleOfInvention Novel electrically conductive composition
abstract PURPOSE: To provide the titled composition having excellent electrical conductivity, tackiness and solvent resistance and low humidity dependence, and suitable for the coating of paper and film, by compounding a specific cationic polymer with polymethacrylic acid. n CONSTITUTION: The objective composition is composed mainly of (A) a cationic polymer consisting of the recurring unit of formula (R 1 and R 2 are methyl, ethyl or benzyl; R 3 and R 4 are H or methyl; X is Cl or Br) and (B) polymethacrylic acid at a weight ratio (A/B) of 1/1.5W1/0.1. The cationic polymer is preferably the one obtained by the polymerization of dimethyldiallylammonium chloride, etc. and having an intrinsic viscosity of ≤1.5, and the intrinsic viscosity of the polymethacrylic acid is preferably also ≤1.5. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1984,JPO&Japio
