titleOfInvention | Quantitative analysis of hydrogen peroxide |
abstract | PURPOSE:To enhance the sensitivity in measuring a minute amount of H2O2 in the presence of peroxidase to a large extent, by using a specific pyrazoline derivative and a specific phenylendiamine derivative in a combined form as a color forming reagent. CONSTITUTION:A compound represented by formula I (wherein R<1> is halogen or O-R<3>, wherein, R<3> is alkyl, phenyl or S-R<4>, wherein, R<4> is alkyl, benzylphenyl or a group shown by formula III, A1-A4 are N or a methine chain, R<2> is alkyl, acyl, alkoxycarbonyl or aryl and Ar is phenyl) and a compound represented by formula II (wherein R<5> and R<6> are alkyl or R<5> and R<6> may be combined together to form a ring, R<7> and R<8> are H, alkyl, halogen, COOH, carbamoyl, sulfo or sulfonamide) are used together as a reagent. This reagent is reacted with a minute amount of H2O2 in high sensitivity to form a color in performing the quantitative analysis of H2O2 generated from glucose or uric acid contained in humose such as urine in the presence of peroxidase. By this reagent, the sensitivity in quantitative analysis is increased 2-3-fold as compared with the conventional one. |
