titleOfInvention Heat resistant methacrylic resin composition
abstract PURPOSE: To prepare the titled clear and colorless composition having balanced high heat resistance and moldability, by mixing a specific methyl methacrylate/ α-methylstyrene/maleic anhydride terpolymer and a copolymer composed mainly of methyl methacrylate. n CONSTITUTION: The objective composition is prepared by compounding (A) 1W 99wt%, preferably 5W95wt% of a copolymer obtained by polymerizing a mixture comprising (i) 50W98wt% of methyl methacrylate monomer or oligomer, (ii) 1W25wt% of α-methylstyrene and (iii) 1W25wt% of maleic anhydride with (B) 1W99wt%, preferably 5W95wt% of a copolymer containing ≥80wt% of methyl methacrylate.
