PURPOSE: A rubber composition excellent in vulcanizability, processing stability, and storage stability, containing a copolymer of a monomer containing an (alkoxy)alkyl acrylate with a monoalkoxyalkyl maleate. n CONSTITUTION: A rubber composition containing, as a rubber component, a copolymer elastomer having a composition of 100pts.wt. total monomer comprising (A) 0W50wt% vinyl carboxylate of formula I (wherein R is a 1W4C alkyl), (B) 0W30wt% ethylene, and (C) 10W100wt% alkyl acrylate of formula II (wherein R 1 is a 1W8C alkyl) and/or alkoxyalkyl acrylate of formula III (wherein R 2 is a 1W4C alkylene and R 3 is a 1W4C alkyl); and 2W15pts.wt. monoalkoxyalkyl maleate of formula IV (wherein R 4 is a 1W4C alkylene and R 5 is a 1W4C alkyl). n COPYRIGHT: (C)1984,JPO&Japio |
