titleOfInvention Formation of color diffusion transfer reversal image by heat development and heat-developable photographic material
abstract PURPOSE:To obtain a heat-developable photographic material giving a dye image with high maximum density and little stain by incorporating a plurality of primary color developing agents producing dyes with different hues by heat development into a heat-developable photographic constituent layer contg. a silver salt as an oxidizing agent, etc. CONSTITUTION:One or more photographic constituent layers are formed on a support, and a silver salt such as silver stearate as an oxidizing agent, a plurality of primary color developing agents producing dyes with different hues by heat development such as 4-methoxy-1-naphthol and 2,5-dibenzylhydroquinone, and a binder are incorporated into one of the constituent layers or the separate layers to obtain the desired heat developable photographic material. A latent image is formed in the photographic material by imagewise exposure, and heat development is carried out. The resulting imagewise distributed dyes are diffusion-transferred to an image receiving layer superposed on the photographic material under heating to form a color diffusion transfer reversal image.
