titleOfInvention | Production of flexible porous sheet |
abstract | PURPOSE: To obtain the titled sheet having fine, uniform pores, by adding a carboxyvinyl polymer and an electrically conductive substance to a polyurethane solution, thickening the resulting solution with an alkaline substance, applying the thickened solution to a fiber base, and coagulating the applied solution. n CONSTITUTION: To a solvent solution of a polyurethane-based polymer are added 0.1W7wt%, based on the polyurethane, carboxyvinyl polymer which is soluble in the solvent and shows a thickening effect upon contact with an alkaline substance, and 2W50wt%, based on the polyurethane, electrically conductive substance of a volume resistivity ≤10 3 Ω -cm (e.g., carbon black). An alkaline substance (e.g., NaOH) is added to this solution to thicken the polyurethane solution to near its maximum. The resulting solution is applied to a fiber base or a releasable material, which is then treated with a coagulant solution based on a liquid miscible with the solution for polyurethane (e.g., water) to coagulate polyurethane, and the object is washed with water, dehydrated and dried. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1984,JPO&Japio |
