titleOfInvention Preparation of feed by vacuum fryer
abstract PURPOSE: To prepare a feed having high calorific value, by using raw fish or frozen fish as a main raw material, kneading and granulating the fish with powdery raw material of feed, treating with a vacuum fryer, and drying and cooling the product. n CONSTITUTION: Raw fish and/or frozen fish are minced together with animal guts, added with a specific amount of powdery additive (e.g. animal or vegetable powder, vitanins, minerals, antioxidants, etc.) prepared according to the nutrients required by the objective animal, and the mixture is mixed and kneaded. The obtained mixture is granulated with a wet granulator such as a chopper having a proper screen size. The granules are dried under reduced pressure in an oil controlled to a definite temperature between 80 and 90°C to reduce the water content to ≤10wt%. The dried product is centrifuged to remove the excess oil, cooled, weighed, and packaged to obtain the objective piscicultural feed or animal feed. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1984,JPO&Japio
