titleOfInvention Nitrogen-containing wholly aromatic polyether
abstract PURPOSE: A novel nitrogen-containing wholly aromatic polyether, containing specific structural units in a specific proportion, and having good moldability and workability, high thermal stability and improved dynamic characteristics. n CONSTITUTION: A nitrogen-containing wholly aromatic polyether, obtained by polymerizing the corresponding monomers, e.g. terephthalaldehyde, 3,4'-diaminodiphenyl ether or p-phenylenediamine, to give 100mol% structural units expressed by formula I , 15W100mol% structural units expressed by formula II and 0W 85mol% structural units expressed by formula III contained therein, and having 85wt% or more above-mentioned structural units in the repeating units. The hydrogen atoms on the phenylene rings in formulas I , II and III can be substituted by functional groups, e.g. alkyl, aryl, aralkyl, halogen and/or nitro groups. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1984,JPO&Japio
