abstract PURPOSE: A composition that is obtained by adding specific filler and pigment to a specific propylene-ethylene copolymer, thus having greatly improved scratch resistance on the surface of shaped articles and good balance between stiffness, heat resistance and shock resistance. n CONSTITUTION: (A) A propylene-ethylene block or random copolymer which has an ethylene content of 1W25wt%, boiling xylene-soluble fraction of 3W30% and less than 2μ mean particle size in the domain between the polyethylene part and noncrystalline propylene-ethylene copolymer part, (B) an ethylene polymer of more than 0.92g/cm 3 density, (C) an ethylene-propylene copolymer rubber of Mooney viscosity ML 1+4 (100°C) of 15W200, (D) a filler such as talc of mean particle size of 0.2W10μ or mica of 1W150μ and (E) a pigment consisting of the coloration component of 0.2W10μ average particle size, containing more than 25wt% of the component of less than 0.2μ mean particle size and of more than 20m 2 /g specific surface area and of the dispersant where their ratio is 0.25W9 are incorporated so that the amount of component A becomes 30W95%, B, 20W 0%; C, 40W0%, D 50W5%, and E, 1W10%, based on components A+B+C+D. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1984,JPO&Japio
