titleOfInvention Production of flexible polyurethane foam
abstract PURPOSE: To produce a flexible polyurethane foam of a low density and excellent properties by a simplified process, by using a specified polyol and a specified foam stabilizer and pouring a stock solution at a mold temperature in a specified range. n CONSTITUTION: The desired flexible polyurethane foam is prepared by using (i) a polyhydroxyl compound comprising a polyether polyol of an OH value of 35W 65 and an ethylene oxide content of 5W45wt% and/or a polymer polyol prepared by graft-polymerizing an ethylenically unsaturated monomer with the above polyether-polyol, and an ethylene oxide-free polyetherpolyol of an OH value of 28W65, and/or a polymer-polyol prepared by graft-polymerizing an ethylenically unsaturated monomer with this polyether-polyol, (ii) a polyisocyanate, (iii) a blowing agent, and (iv) a foam stabilizer i.e. a siloxane-oxyalkylene copolymer of the formula, and a catalyst, and setting the mold temperature at the time of pouring the stock solution at above 55°C. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1984,JPO&Japio
