abstract PURPOSE: To provide a recording liquid having excellent discharge stability, discharge response and continuous recordability, by incorporating a specified compd. into a recording liquid contg. a recording agent and a liquid medium. n CONSTITUTION: 5W90wt% compd. ovtd. by adding 1W30mol of ethylene oxide or propylene oxide to a prim. or tert. polyamine having 2W6 nitrogen atoms, is added to a recording liquid consisting of 0.5W50wt% recording agent such as an anthraquinone or indigoid dye having a particle size of 0.01W3μ and a liquid medium such as water, methyl alcohol or ethylene glycol. n EFFECT: The liquid medium contg. this compd. exhibits good affinity with the recording agent. Temperature dependence of viscosity is small. A solid matter is a scarcely deposited from the resulting recording liquid during storage or suspension of recording.
