titleOfInvention | Manufacturing of rigid foam |
abstract | PURPOSE: To manufacture a rigid foam having light weight, high strength and excellent heat insulation, applicability and dimensional stability, and suitable as an insulating material, building material, etc., by mixing a polyisocyanate, a polyol, a foaming agent and an organic zinc compound as a catalyst. n CONSTITUTION: 100Pts.(wt.) of a polyisocyanate and a polyol are mixed and kneaded with ≥0.1pt., pref. 0.2W10pts. of a foaming material (e.g. trichloromonofluoromethane) and an organic zinc compound of formula (R 1 and R 2 are alkyl or phenyl) (e.g. zinc octoate) together with a part of or the whole raw materials in a roll mill, etc. to obtain a pasty product, which is poured into a mold and foamed freely to affored a rigid urethane foam or a urethane-modified isocyanurate foam. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1982,JPO&Japio |
