abstract PURPOSE: An insecticide having low phytotoxicity to crops and low toxicity to men, beasts, and fishes, comprising an O-ethyl-S-alkyl-S-isopropylphosphoro dithiolate as an active ingredient. n CONSTITUTION: An insecticide comprising a compound shown by the formula (R is methyl or ethyl) as an active ingredient. Since this insecticide has low influence on crops, it can be applied to crops in their growth, having improved properties free from anxiety of phytotoxicity, effective against wide range of noxious insects belonging to the order dermaptera, lepidoptera, hemiptera, and diptera. The compound shown by the formula is obtained in an oily state, and processed into agricultural chemicals directly or after being blended with a liquid, solid, or gaseous carrier in some cases, and, if necessary, mixed with various kinds of auxiliaries. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1982,JPO&Japio
