titleOfInvention | Denitrification treatment of anaerobic digesting desorbed liquid |
abstract | PURPOSE: To smooth treatment and improve the quality of treated water by maintaining the NH 4 -N.SS load of a nitrifying vessel at specific values in denitrification treatment of the desorbed liquid after methane fermentation of crude night soil. n CONSTITUTION: The crude night soil subjected to pretreatment is introduced into an anaerobic digester 1, where methane fermentation is caused for about 30 days at about 37°C, whereby solids are removed as digested sludge and the liquid part is fed as desorbed liquid to the 1st denitrifying vessel 2. In the vessel 2, the circulating liquid from a nitrifying vessel 3 and the return sludge and liquid part from a settling basin 5 are mixed and denitrification is accomplished. Thence, the treated liquid is introduced to the vessel 3 where it aerated for about ≥3hr. After this time, the withdrawal amt. of excess sludge is controlled to maintain the NH 4 -N.SS load in the vessel 3 at ≥0.2kg/kg.day. Next, it is fed to the 2nd denitrifying vessel 4, where the denitrification of the nitriate nitrogen remaining through endogenous respiration of bacteria is accomplished for about 10hr. Next, the solids are separated in a settling basin 5, and the liquid part is released as treated water. Part of the solids are returned to the vessel 2 and the balance are discharged. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1982,JPO&Japio |
