titleOfInvention Electrophotographic receptor
abstract PURPOSE:To obtain a receptor with high sensitivity to visible light, superior charge retentivity and high durability by adding >=1 kinds of pigment selected from specified 3 kinds of pigments to a carrier generating phase and a specified hydrazone deriv. to a carrier transferring phase. CONSTITUTION:A photosensitive layer 4 is formed on an electrically conductive support 1 by dispersing >=1 kinds of pigment selected from anthoanthrone pigment, dibenzopyrene pigment and pyranthrone pigment represented by formulaI, II, III (where X is halogen, NO2, CN, acyl or COOH, n is 0-4, and m is 0-6), respectively as a carrier generating phase 21 in a carrier transferring phase 31. To the phase 31 is added a hydrazone deriv. represented by formula IV (where each of R1 and R2 is alkyl, phenyl or benzyl, each of R3, R4 and R7 is H or alkyl, R5 is H or alkoxy, R6 is H, alkyl or aloxy, and R8 is H, alkyl, alkoxy, dialkylamino or heterocyclic). A generating layer 2 contg. said pigment and a transferring layer 3 contg. said hydrazone deriv. may be laminated.
