titleOfInvention Diluting liquid
abstract PURPOSE:To prevent sticking of protein to an electrode effectively and intend to use the electrode continuously, by adding water and protease to the diluting liquid to be used to a living body component in case of measuring the substances in the living body components such as blood by using a high molecule membrane electrode. CONSTITUTION:When measure the ions of Na, K, Ca, Cl in blood, plasma, urine by using an elecrode having a high molecule sensitive membrane such as a liquid- membrane type electrode or an enzyme electrode etc., a diluting liquid containing protease such as alkaline protease produced by Bacillus bacteria and constituting of water and a buffer solution composed of trishydoxymethyl aminomethane and boric acid, is used for said living body components such as blood. >=5 unit/ml, about 150 unit/ml protease is contained in the diluting liquid. Thus, sticking of protein to the electrode is prevented and many times measurement (about 6,000 sample in a week) is performed continuously without washing the electrode.
