abstract PURPOSE:To improve the durability, by using a specific base film having a saticfactory adhesive strength, for a wide magnetic layer whose bonding agent components are polyvinyl chloride and polyvinyl acetate compound resin, and an isocyanate compound. CONSTITUTION:Polyester (C) consisting of a dibasic acid residue whose >=90mol% is terephthalic acid, and a glycol residue is obtained. Subsequently, a crystalline polyester segment component (D1) whose melting point is >=170 deg.C, consisting of said dibasic acid residual radical and glycol residue is obtained. Subsequently, a polyester block copolymer (D) consisting of said components and mol wt. 800-600 polyglycol segment (D2) whose >=80wt% is tetramethylene glycol is obtained, and after that, a base film which consists of said mixing polymer and has 0.5-10wt% D2/(C+D1+D2) is obtained. After that, a magnetic layer whose bonding agent components are polyvinyl chloride, polymvinyl acetate, or polyvinyl resin such as a copolymer of them, etc. is provided on said film.
