titleOfInvention Heat-generating composition
abstract PURPOSE: To provide a heat-generating composition having excellent heat=generation properties and a soft structure during and after use, and containing iron, silicic acid, and a filler such as metal halide, silica-alumina, etc., having a specific apparent specific gravity. n CONSTITUTION: The objective composition is prepared by compounding (A) iron (pref. cast iron powder finer than 60 mesh), (B) silicic acid (e.g. orthosilicic acid, metasilicic acid, etc.) and/or hydrated sodium silicate, (C) a metal halide (pref. sodium chloride), (D) a filler such as silica.alumina, silica.magnesic, calcium sulfate, etc. and having an apparent specific gravity of ≤0.68g/ml, and pref. (E) activated charcoal. The amounts of (A), (B), (C), (D) and (E) are, 20W80(wt)%, 5W50%, 20W 20%, 10W50%, and 0W35%, respectively. n USE: At the composition fits well to the body, it is suitable as a chemical body warmer. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1982,JPO&Japio
