abstract | PURPOSE: To obtain a multi-layer film having improved adhesivity between layers, by applying a cation type coating compound for electrodeposition containing a spefic amino acrylate type copolymer to a substrate by electrodeposition, followed by coating the covered film with a melamine type resin coating compound. n CONSTITUTION: A cation type coating compound for electrodeposition comprising (A) a copolymer obtained by copolymerizing (i) 10W50wt% dimethylaminoethyl methacrylate with (ii) 20W85wt% 1W4C alkyl acrylate, (iii) 5W30wt% of N alkoxymethyl monomer and/or N-methylol monomer of α,β-mono-ethylenic unsaturated carboxylic acid amide and (iv) 0W65wt% α,β-ethylenic unsaturated monomer except the above-mentioned compounds, (B) an acid as a neutralizing agent, and (C) water as a diluent is applied to a substrate by electrodeposition, the applied film is dried by heating, and the film is coated with a coating compound of alkyd melamine resin or coating compound of acrylmelamine resin and dried. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1982,JPO&Japio |
