abstract PURPOSE: The titled fungicide that contains polyoxin, preferably polyoxin B, or thiophanate-methyl and sodium bicarbonate, thus showing markedly increased fungicidal effect against gray mold. n CONSTITUTION: The objective fungicide for agricultural and horticultural purposes contains polyoxin or thiophanate-methyl and sodium bicarbonate. The fungicide is effective against gray molds in vegetables such as cucumba or eggplant, fruits such as citrus or grapes and flowers such as chrysanthenum or roses. Among polyoxins, polyoxin B is most effective, because of its high activity againt other blights than gray mold, low toxicity and high safety of low remaining effect. The mixing ratio of polyoxin to sodium bicarbonate is 1:(5W60) and of thiphanate-methyl to sodium bicarbonate is 1:(10W40). n COPYRIGHT: (C)1982,JPO&Japio
