abstract | PURPOSE: A crustacean containing astaxanthin, a red color-hightening agent such as paprika and a yellow color agent such as scenedesmus or chlorella are combined in a specific proportion to heighten the color of cultivated porgies to will ones. n CONSTITUTION: Shells of a crustacean containing a relatively large amount of astaxanthin such as a mysid, shrimp, crab or ascidian, a red color-heightening agent of paprica and a yellow color-heightening agent of scenedesmus or chlorella mixed in the range 0.8:0.2W0.6:0.4 on the dry weight basis.
