titleOfInvention Polyurethane composition
abstract PURPOSE: To prepare the titled composition having excellent heat resistance and weatherability, and suitable for molding of elastic articles, by compounding a polyurethane with a benzotriazole-type ultraviolet absorbing agent, a hindered phenol- type antioxidant, and an acrylate, etc. n CONSTITUTION: A polyurethane derived from a polyisocyanate compound and a compound having active hydrogen group (e.g. ethylene glycol) is compounded with (A) a benzotriazole-type ultraviolet absorbing agent of formula I (X is H, halogen or alkyl; R 1 WR 3 are H, halogen, alkyl, OH or alkoxy), etc., (B) a hindered phenol- type antioxidant of formula II (R 4 WR 6 are H or alkyl), etc., and (C) an acrylate or a methacrylate, by kneading. The amount of each additive is usually 0.05W 3wt%. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1982,JPO&Japio
