titleOfInvention Pneumatic safety tire
abstract PURPOSE: To improve a potential running range of a tire when it is flatted by arranging a lunate elastic reinforcing body between the side section and the shoulder section thereof, as made of a specified rubber composition blended with a specified organic short fiber at a specified ratio by weight with respect to the total weight of the tire. n CONSTITUTION: The lunate elastic reinforcing body 5 is molded at a ratio by weight of 15W30% with respect to the total weight with 100pts.wt. of an ordinary tire rubber such as stylene copolymer rubber, 10W100pts.wt. of carbon black, 4W10pts.wt. of organic vulcanizing agent for sulfuric component, and a micro organic short fiber with a transition temperature of 30°C or less or 120°C or more at an amorphous section and a melting point of 160°C or more at a crystal section, a average fiber length 0.8W30μm, an average fiber diameter 0.02W0.8μm and a ratio of 8W400 between the two and arranged on an inner surface between the side section 3 and the shoulder section. This can improve the potential running range and the rolling resistance when a tire is flatted. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1982,JPO&Japio
