titleOfInvention Coated molding material
abstract PURPOSE: To obtain a coated molded material excellent in workability such as bending, calking, etc. by a method wherein the molded material is coated by special linear polyester and cross-linked by irradiating light and radioactive radiation. n CONSTITUTION: After the molded material comprising metallic or inorganic cylindrical material is coated with practically linear polyester containing a compound [preferably, having a non-conjugated fatty unsaturated radical, particularly, a non-conjugated radical having at least one hydrogen atom to carbon at position α to a double bond represented by the formula (bonding hands a, b, c and d being bonded with a hydrogen atom, bonding hand e with an organic radical)] having a stable polymerizing unsaturated radical when melted and coated and a reaction initiator, the coated material is cross-linked by irradiating light and/or radioactive radiation. The polyester is preferred to be composed of terephtalic acid, isophtalic acid, etc. and ethylene glycol, neopentyl glycol, etc. or copolymer. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1982,JPO&Japio
