abstract PURPOSE:To obtain a leader tape which has light transmittivity ans superior antistatic property and wear resistance, by providing a silicate layer between a metallic oxide layer and a rough surface. CONSTITUTION:A transparent flexible base material is formed by using an organic high polymer compound and its surface is roughened. On this base material, a silicate layer is provided and a metallic oxide layer is further formed. At this time, the roughness of the roughened surface is 1.5-4mum.
